Integrated Services for Peace, Resilience and Empowerment for Rohingya and Host communities (INSPIRE)

Working Area:

Ukhiya Upazila: Camp: 2E & 5 and Union (Host): Palongkhali.

Teknaf Upazila: Camp: 25 and Union (Host): Baharchara 

Goal: The overall objective of the proposed project is to promote safe and equitable access to integrated basic services in education, livelihoods, and justice and rights for Rohingya and Host communities in Cox's Bazar.
Objective:

Outcome 1: Quality basic services - protection, education, health, and livelihood protection are accessible and safe for women, men, girls, boys.

Outcome 2: Vulnerable individuals are self-reliant, develop their livelihoods and respond appropriately to economic shocks. 

Outcome 3: Rohingya and host communities are more socially cohesive and resilient to emerging disasters and shocks.

Outcome 4: National, local and community systems are protective of human rights and condemn all forms of violence.

Significant Achievements/ Milestone:
  • 540 Children enrollment completed for “Now, I am Stronger” module-based PSS session and 253 Children graduate (10 session)
  • CBCPC is effectively function and active, and They prepared community action plan of community led initiative for reduce child abuse and vulnerabilities. No. of 5 CBCPC – 2 Host community and 3 Camp.
  • 5 Multi-purpose community (MPCC) well setup and children attend regular recreational activities. 
  • Awareness session conduct on Child protection prevention issues i.e. Child marriage, Child Labor, Child trafficking, Children forcibly engage in Illegal activities, Domestic Violence, Emergency Preparedness and DRR, Sexual abuse & Exploitation, Basic Positive parenting, etc. Total Participants 1056 reached, Male: 646 and Female: 410.
