BTS
On behalf of Breaking the Silence (BTS), a non-profit, non-political, and voluntary organization founded in 1994, it is an honor to convey this message. Since its founding, BTS has been dedicated to protecting children's rights, preventing child marriage, child sexual abuse, and violence against women, as well as advancing child-friendly governance.
BTS remains a key player in addressing the effects of climate change on women and children, enhancing the quality of education, and assisting childcare and Early Childhood Development (ECD) facilities. In order to help accomplish the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the organization is also committed to empowering women, youth, and adolescents via economic involvement and skill development.
Through its strategic priorities (2022–2026)—Child Rights and Protection, Youth Development, Women Empowerment, Gender Equity, Climate Change and Humanitarian Response, Health and WASH, and Organizational Development—BTS is moving forward, driven by its mission to protect and enable women and children to reach their full potential and its vision of a society that values and protects their rights.
In my capacity as Chairperson, I want to sincerely thank our hardworking staff, partners, and supporters for their ongoing assistance. We are all still dedicated to speaking out against injustice in all its manifestations and creating a society that is secure, just, and welcoming for all women and children.
